Maite's Signature Pilates classes mix myofascial release work using a foam roller, trigger point balls with functional movements, and some classic Pilates exercises. Each class moves the body through release, mobility, stability and engages the primary muscle group that supports optimal spinal alignment. The signature class will leave you feeling taller, more mobile and STRONG to the core.

  • I have attended Maite’s classes for many years. I think the teaching is superb and the classes are really interesting and fun. Maite’s sessions are always well balanced with strength, cardio, stretching, and the amazing bobbly Pilates balls. No class is ever the same. She is positive and engaging and constantly introduces us to new concepts and ideas. Her thorough understanding of the muscular makeup of the body would help anyone doing Pilates in their own practice - beginner, intermediate, injured, or advanced. She challenges and motivates each student while focusing on the fundamentals of form and balance, adding on variations, and fully explaining the key steps and target goal. We are lucky to have someone so dedicated and passionate.

  • I’ve been going to Maite’s Pilates classes for over three years now (both in-person and online) and it’s one of the highlights of my week. She’s a warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and empathetic instructor paying attention to everyone in the room and making sure we work hard whilst having fun! She is obviously passionate about Pilates and keeps us motivated with both classic and new exercises, I can't recommend her highly enough to anyone from beginner onwards.

As a 51 year old who spends my working week at a desk, Pilates is a great way to keep the body moving and complements my other passion - running. Having tried several different Pilates instructors I can say that Maite is great at what she does. During lockdown in 2020, she transitioned really well to teaching online. So I can say that Maite has definitely helped me keep in shape during these unusual times.
